Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to join Chelsea, sealing a reunion with boss Thomas Tuchel, as Premier League clubs passed the £2billion mark in a record transfer-window spree.

Chelsea have agreed to give Barcelona £12m plus left back Marcos Alonso for Aubameyang, who only moved to the Nou Camp in February on a free after his exit from Arsenal.

Aubameyang will join Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Carney Chukwuemeka and Wesley Fofana at Chelsea after new owner Todd Boehly splashed out £280m this summer.

The deal will form part of a record window for the top flight, with Nottingham Forest signing a staggering 19 players.

Aubameyang will have to wait several weeks for his Chelsea debut after suffering a broken jaw in an armed robbery at his home in the early hours of Monday.
