LeBron James isn’t wearing a walking boot anymore and is progressing
Although the Los Angeles Lakers have won eight of their last 11 games, all eyes are still on LeBron James and how fast he is able to recover from the right foot tendon injury that has sidelined him for the last two weeks.
He is scheduled to be re-evaluated in about two more weeks, and Lakers fans are hoping he will return to the lineup shortly afterward.
Right after he sustained the injury on Feb. 26 in a win over the Dallas Mavericks, James started wearing a walking boot on his injured foot. But he attended the Lakers’ home game on Sunday against the New York Knicks, and the boot was off.
Head coach Darvin Ham also said that James’ recovery is “going according to plan.”
Including Sunday’s contest against the Knicks, Los Angeles has 15 regular season games remaining.
