Nathan Tella’s hat-trick saw runaway Championship leaders Burnley canter to a dominant 3-1 victory at Hull City.
Tella scored his second treble of the season as Vincent Kompany’s side ended Hull’s seven-game unbeaten home league run.
It was a 14th win in their last 17 games and the Clarets now need nine points from their remaining nine games to rubber stamp an instant return to the Premier League.
