Championship leaders Burnley have enquired about Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo as Vincent Kompany looks to bolster his squad for their promotion push.

They value Semenyo at around £12m, and the forward has also had interest from Premier League outfit Bournemouth.

Vincent Kompany is looking to add to his squad to aid their promotion push
Semenyo has scored six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for City this term.
His latest strike came in his side’s 1-1 FA Cup draw with Swansea on Saturday.
However, Nigel Pearson’s team have struggled in the league, and currently find themselves just three points above the drop zone.
Gary O’Neil’s Bournemouth have also been showing interest in Semenyo
Meanwhile, Burnley are flying under Kompany, and have opened up a five-point lead at the top of the table.
The Clarets have been monitoring Semenyo in the Championship, and also got to see him on the international stage at the World Cup.
The versatile forward made two appearances from the bench for the Black Stars in Qatar, but was unable to prevent his side from exiting the tournament before the knockout stages as Ghana finished bottom of Group H.
