LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau’s dramatic weight loss came after doctors told him that he could be taking years off his life.
The 29-year-old had previously done everything he could to bulk up in an effort to increase his power, reaching 17st as he consumed 3,500 calories a day.
His efforts were successful with ‘The Scientist’ having the biggest average driving distance in the 2019-20 season at 322.1 yards.
However, he was informed last year that this approach could have seriously detrimental effects on his health.
Doctors found that DeChambeau was ‘super inflamed’ and and that he needed to make big adjustments to his diet, including eating more vegetables.

Golf fans have watched him lose that weight quickly with the former world No 4 showing off his transformation on social media.
He revealed that he lost 18lbs in 24 days after being provided with the wake-up call.
And the full scale of the transformation was clear as he teed off at the US PGA Championship at testing Oak Hill in New York on Thursday.
‘I have lost weight, but I haven’t lost speed in my neuromuscular,’ DeChambeau told The Telegraph.

‘The neurons have stayed the same, the nervous system has stayed the same and the muscle density hasn’t changed.
‘I’m telling you, I’m trending, and if I can get that mix of 2018 and 2020 then I’ll be difficult to beat on my day.
‘I’m finally in a place where I feel I can play elite golf again.’
