Brandon Miller goes one-on-one with NBA Insider to discuss upcoming draft

With the NBA draft only about a month away, players all across the country are given final chances to prove to the NBA world why they are worthy of being drafted. Among those is Alabama superstar, Brandon miller, who is widely regarded as a top-three pick and the best player in the draft coming out of college.

In virtually any other draft class, Miller would be in the running for the No. 1 overall pick, but with a generational talent like Victor Wembanyama in his class, it is a foregone conclusion as to who the top pick will be. The San Antonio Spurs, who hold the No. 1 overall pick, have already sent head coach Gregg Popovich and other members of the organization to France to meet with Wembanyama. So for Miller, it really comes down to the Charlotte Hornets at No. 2 overall or the Portland Trail Blazers at No. 3 overall.

Brandon Miller sat down with Shams Charania, an NBA insider for The Athletic and Stadium, to discuss the upcoming draft. When Charania asked Miller about Wembanyama and being the No.1 overall pick, Miller said, “I feel like I am No. 1, but you can’t beat 7-5, 8-foot wingspan.”

Miller has done his best to mold his game around NBA All-Pro caliber player, Paul George, due to his lengthy wingspan, outstanding defensive presence and stone-cold three-point shooting abilities. Miller is exactly what the NBA is looking for in this day and age due to his frame and defensive abilities.
